사물이나 동물에 대한 정보를 덧붙일 때는 which나 that으로 이어요. 둘 다 써도 괜찮아요.
This is the bus. It goes downtown. → This is the bus that goes downtown.
I like films. They have happy endings. → I like films which have happy endings.
Not "I like movies who have happy endings." — say "I like movies that have happy endings.". 영화는 사물이므로 who가 아니라 that이나 which를 써요.

who / which / that은 생략할 수 있어요
who, which, that이 다른 누군가의 행동을 받는 대상일 때는 생략할 수 있어요: "the film that I saw" = "the film I saw". 행동을 직접 하는 주체일 때는 그대로 둬야 해요.
This is the film. I saw it last night. → This is the film (that) I saw last night.
Hiroshi is the friend. Mei met him. → Hiroshi is the friend (who) Mei met.
Here is the book. You lent it to me. → Here is the book (that) you lent me.
Not "This is the song I like it." — say "This is the song I like.". 이어 주는 말을 뺄 때 it을 다시 넣지 마세요: "the song I like it"이 아니라 the song I like예요.
해 보세요: This is the book. Amina recommended it. 이어 주는 말을 빼고 두 문장을 하나로 이어 보세요. (필요 없는 단어는 빼세요.) 정답: This is the book Amina recommended. — Amina가 행동을 하는 주체이므로 책(the book)은 행동을 받는 대상이에요. 따라서 이어 주는 말을 생략할 수 있어요: This is the book Amina recommended. 장소에 관한 두 문장을 잇는 where
장소에 대한 정보를 덧붙일 때는 where로 이어요.
That's the restaurant. We ate there. → That's the restaurant where we ate.
This is the place. We met here. → This is the place where we met.
Not "This is the place which we met." — say "This is the place where we met.". 무언가가 일어나는 장소에는 which가 아니라 where를 써요.
