RELATIVE CLAUSES (A2 Grammar)

Relative clauses give extra information. WHO = people. WHICH/THAT = things. WHERE = places.

Quick tip: WHO = people. WHICH/THAT = things. WHERE = places. THAT can replace WHO or WHICH.

WHO for people

Use who to talk about people. Who replaces he/she/they.

WHICH/THAT for things

Use which or that for things and animals. Both are correct.

WHERE for places

Use where for places. Where = in which/at which.
