برای اینکه راه رو به یکی بگی، از go straight ahead استفاده کن یعنی مستقیم برو جلو، turn left یا turn right یعنی مسیر رو عوض کن، و go along the street یعنی خیابون رو دنبال کن. معمولاً at the traffic light مسیرت رو عوض میکنی.

برای گفتن اینکه یه جا کجاست، از next to برای درست کنارش، across from برای اونور، between برای وسطِ دو جا، و on the corner برای جایی که دو تا خیابون به هم میرسن استفاده کن.

چقدر راه، و کدام پیچ
دو چیز دیگه که موقع آدرس دادن میگن. برای اینکه بگی پیاده چقدر طول میکشه، عدد و minute رو قبل از walk بذار: a 15-minute walk. و برای اینکه بگی کدوم پیچ رو بپیچه، با first، second، third بشمارشون: Take the first right.
minute — It's about a 15-minute walk from the station.
first — Take the first right after the gas station.
خودت امتحان کن: It's about a 15-___ walk from the station. (minute / first / next) جواب: minute — Minute میگه پیاده چقدر طول میکشه، پس a 15-minute walk. First میگه کدوم پیچ رو بپیچی و next یعنی همون بغلی، پس هیچکدوم زمان رو اندازه نمیگیره.
خودت امتحان کن: There are three streets on the right. Take the ___ right after the gas station. (first / minute / between) جواب: first — First میشمره کدوم پیچ رو میپیچی، و اینجا همونیه که قبل از بقیه میآد. Minute مدت راهه و between یه موقعیته، پس هیچکدوم پیچ رو مشخص نمیکنه.
