给别人指路时，用 go straight ahead 表示一直往前走，用 turn left 或 turn right 表示转弯，用 go along the street 表示沿着这条路走。转弯的地方常常是 at the traffic light，也就是在红绿灯那里。

要说一个地方在哪里，用 next to 表示就在旁边，用 across from 表示在对面，用 between 表示在两个地方中间，用 on the corner 表示在两条街交汇的地方。

指路时还会说两件事。要说走过去要多久，把数字和 minute 放在 walk 前面：a 15-minute walk。要说转哪个路口，就用 first、second、third 来数：Take the first right。

first — Take the first right after the gas station.
