Com I, use am. A forma curta é I'm.

• Not "I is here." — say "I am here.". Só I anda com am, não com is ou are.

Com he, she, it, use is.

• Experimente: Sofia ___ my friend. (is / am / are) Resposta: is — Sofia is my friend. Sofia é uma pessoa só (she), então use is, não are.

you / we / they → are

Com you, we e they, use are. You pede are tanto para uma pessoa quanto para várias.
