to + 動詞をとる動詞があります：want to go。-ing のついた動詞をとる動詞もあります：enjoy going。

Not "I enjoy to cook." — say "I enjoy cooking.". enjoy のあとは -ing のついた動詞を使います。

decide、hope、plan、learn のあとは to + 動詞を使います。

-ing をとる動詞：finish, don't mind + -ing
finish と don't mind のあとは -ing のついた動詞を使います。
We finished eating at nine.
I don't mind walking in the rain.

前置詞のあとは -ing：good at, interested in + -ing
good at と interested in のあとは -ing のついた動詞を使います。
He's good at cooking.
I'm interested in buying a bike.

手伝いを申し出る：Do you want me to …?
手伝いを申し出るときは Do you want me to + 動詞と言います。
Do you want me to help?
She wants me to call her.
Not "Do you want that I help?" — say "Do you want me to help?". want that I ではなく want me to と言います。

何かをする理由を言うときは to + 動詞を使います。
