بعض الأفعال يأتي بعدها to وفعل: want to go. وبعضها يأتي بعده فعل مع -ing: enjoy going.
want to وenjoy -ing: تذكَّر
I want to go home.
She enjoys cooking.
Not "I enjoy to cook." — say "I enjoy cooking.". بعد enjoy، استخدم فعلًا مع -ing.

بعد decide وhope وplan وlearn، استخدم to وفعلًا.
She decided to walk.
They plan to buy a house.
I hope to see you soon.

finish وdon't mind + -ing
بعد finish وdon't mind، استخدم فعلًا مع -ing.
We finished eating at nine.
I don't mind walking in the rain.

good at وinterested in + -ing
بعد good at وinterested in، استخدم فعلًا مع -ing.
He's good at cooking.
I'm interested in buying a bike.

لتعرض المساعدة، قل Do you want me to وفعلًا.
Do you want me to help?
She wants me to call her.
Not "Do you want that I help?" — say "Do you want me to help?". قل want me to، لا want that I.

to + فعل: لتقول السبب
استخدم to وفعلًا لتقول لماذا تفعل شيئًا.

He called to say sorry.
