Usa am, is, are y la forma -ing para hablar de un plan futuro que ya organizaste, con una palabra de tiempo futuro como tomorrow, tonight, next week.
Un plan: am/is/are + -ing
I'm flying to London next Tuesday.
They're having a meeting at 3 PM.
My parents are visiting us this weekend.
Not "I fly to London next Tuesday." — say "I'm flying to London next Tuesday.". Para un plan que organizaste, usa am/is/are y -ing: I'm flying.
Pruébalo: He ___ his new job next Monday.
We're not working on Friday afternoon.
She isn't coming to the party tonight.
I'm not meeting them tomorrow.
Not "We don't working on Friday." — say "We're not working on Friday.". El not va después de are: we aren't working, nunca we don't working.
Pruébalo: Sorry, we ___ on Friday afternoon, the office is closed. (aren't working / don't working / not working) Respuesta: aren't working — El not va después de are: we aren't working. "Don't working" usa el auxiliar equivocado, y "not working" le falta el are.
Preguntar sobre un plan
Para preguntar sobre un plan, pon am, is, are antes de la persona. Añade una palabra de pregunta como what o where al inicio para pedir detalles.
Are you leaving tomorrow?
Is Mei coming to the party tonight?
What time are you leaving?
Where are we meeting them?
Not "You are leaving tomorrow?" — say "Are you leaving tomorrow?". Para preguntar, pon are antes de you: Are you leaving?
Pruébalo: ___ Mei coming to the party tonight? (Is / Does / Will) Respuesta: Is — Para un plan organizado, pregunta con is y la forma -ing: Is Mei coming? "Does Mei come" pregunta por un hábito, y "Will Mei come" es otra manera de hablar del futuro, no esta forma de plan organizado.
Pruébalo: Amina ___ Lars tomorrow, but she ___ him on Friday. (is meeting … isn't seeing / meets … doesn't see / is meeting … doesn't see) Respuesta: is meeting … isn't seeing — Los dos son planes organizados, así que los dos usan is y la forma -ing: she is meeting Lars, y she isn't seeing him on Friday. El present simple (meets, sees) es para hábitos, no para un plan organizado.
