Короткие формы: I'm, you're, he's, it's

isn't и aren't — это короткие формы. У am, is и are тоже есть короткие формы: I am → I'm, you are → you're, he is → he's, it is → it's. Апостроф заменяет букву, которую мы убираем.

• I'm Amina.
• You're happy.
• He's tired.
• It's a book.
• Попробуй: "Are you ready, Amina?" "Yes, ___ ready." (I'm / Im / I'am) Ответ: I'm — I'm = I am. Апостроф стоит на месте буквы a из am. В "Im" апостроф забыли, а в "I'am" осталось целое слово am, так что короче ничего не стало.
