In a clothes shop, ask Can I try it on? to wear it before buying, How much is it? for the price, and Do you have a bigger size? to find a larger one.

Asking in the shop

Talking about the clothes

To describe clothes, say It fits well when it is the right size, It's too small when it is not big enough, and It's on sale when the price is lower than usual.

Paying and taking things back

The words you need at the counter. The price is how much a thing costs. You can pay with credit cards or cash, and you keep the receipt — the small paper proving you paid. With that receipt you can return something you do not want. The fitting room is where you try clothes on, and a tailor can shorten trousers that are too long.
