همون موقعِ حرف زدن تصمیم می‌گیری
وقتی همون لحظه که حرف می‌زنی تصمیم می‌گیری، از will استفاده کن: I'll help you.
You're cold? I'll close the window.
I'll call you tonight. I promise.
خودت امتحان کن: Man: Oh no! I left my wallet at home. Woman: Don't worry. ___ for lunch. حرفِ اون خانم رو انتخاب کن. (I'll pay / I'm going to pay / I pay) جواب: I'll pay — همین که مشکلش رو می‌شنوه تصمیم می‌گیره کمک کنه، پس می‌گه I'll pay.
می‌بینی که داره اتفاق می‌افته
وقتی از نشونه‌ها می‌بینی که یه چیزی می‌خواد اتفاق بیفته، از going to استفاده کن.
Look at those clouds. It's going to rain.
Watch out! That glass is going to fall.
خودت امتحان کن: Woman: The movie starts in ten minutes, and the traffic isn't moving! Man: I know. ___ the start of the movie. حرفِ اون مرد رو انتخاب کن. (We're going to see / We miss / We're going to miss) جواب: We're going to miss — ترافیک اصلاً تکون نمی‌خوره، پس شروعِ فیلم رو از دست می‌دن: going to miss.
نه برنامه، نه تصمیم: هر دو درسته
برای آینده، وقتی نه برنامه‌ای هست نه تصمیمی، هم will درسته هم going to.
