very và really

pretty làm một tính từ mạnh lên, nhưng không mạnh lắm. Ở đây pretty không có nghĩa là xinh đẹp.

Đặt a little hoặc kind of trước một tính từ để làm nó nhẹ đi. kind of mang tính thân mật.
