Прилагательное на -ed говорит о том, что чувствует человек: bored, excited, interested, confused.
-ed — о том, что ты чувствуешь
I'm bored. Let's do something.
We're interested. Tell us more.
Попробуй: Hiroshi: Is the meeting still going? Camila: Yes, for three hours now. I'm so ___. Выбери, что говорит Camila. (boring / bored / proud) Ответ: bored — Три часа — это долго, и чувствует это сама Camila, значит, она bored.
-ing — о том, что вызывает это чувство
Прилагательное на -ing говорит о том, что вызывает у тебя это чувство: boring, exciting, interesting, confusing.
This book is boring.
The new parking signs are confusing.

I'm bored, а не I'm boring
Когда тебе нечем заняться, говори I'm bored. I'm boring значит, что это другим с тобой скучно.
Sunday is long, and I'm bored.
Not "I'm boring. Let's go out." — say "I'm bored. Let's go out.". Скучно тебе — bored. Человек boring — это тот, с кем скучно другим.
