反対の意味の形容詞 (A1)

多くの形容詞には対になる反対語があります。big の反対は small、hot の反対は cold、fast の反対は slow です。

大きさ・温度・速さ

• big / small — an elephant is big, a mouse is small
• hot / cold — fire is hot, ice is cold
• fast / slow — a plane is fast, a snail is slow

happy の反対は sad、new の反対は old、easy の反対は hard です。
