Technologie et internet : téléphones et applis (A2)

Une app, c’est quelque chose que tu utilises sur ton téléphone. Pour avoir une appli, tu la télécharges : on dit download. Pour certaines applis, tu dois d’abord t’inscrire (sign up) avec ton nom et ton e-mail.

Les applis

• Essaie: Man: How do you know when the bus is coming? Woman: There's a great ___ on my phone for that. Choisis ce que dit la femme. (charger / video call / app) Réponse: app — Elle utilise quelque chose sur son téléphone pour les horaires du bus, donc c’est une app.

Rester en contact

Un text, ce sont quelques mots que tu écris à un téléphone. Tu peux envoyer un message à un ami : you can text a friend. Pendant un video call, tu peux voir l’autre personne.

• Essaie: Woman: Can you talk now? Man: Sorry, I'm in class. I'll ___ you. Choisis ce que dit l’homme. (text / download / sign up) Réponse: text — Il ne peut pas parler en cours, donc il va lui envoyer un SMS : text.

Le Wi-Fi et la batterie

Avec le Wi-Fi, ton téléphone peut aller sur Internet. Parfois, il faut un password. Le charger, c’est pour quand ta batterie est faible.

• Essaie: Man: Can I go online here? Woman: Sure. The ___ is free for everyone. Choisis ce que dit la femme. (charger / Wi-Fi / app) Réponse: Wi-Fi — On va sur Internet avec le Wi-Fi, et ici il est gratuit.
