Quand une chose t’échappe des mains, tu la fais tomber : on dit drop. Quand une boisson sort de la tasse ou du verre, tu la renverses : on dit spill. Une assiette ou une vitre peut se casser en morceaux : on dit break.

Quand tu fais tomber une chose qui est debout et qu’elle se retrouve sur le côté, on dit knock over. Quand une partie de ton corps te fait mal après un accident, on dit hurt. Le passé de hurt est hurt.
