برای رسوندنِ حرفِ یه نفر، از said + حرف‌هاش استفاده کن. می‌تونی that هم اضافه کنی. اگه با زمانِ حال گفته، می‌تونی زمانِ حال رو نگه داری: He said he is tired.
He said (that) … (گفت که …)
She said the bus is late.
He said he is tired.
Mom said that dinner is ready.
خودت امتحان کن: Man: Is your arm okay? Woman: Yes. The doctor ___ it is fine. حرفِ اون خانم رو انتخاب کن. (told / said / forgot) جواب: said — بعد از said اسمِ آدم نمیاد: the doctor said it is fine.
tell یه آدم لازم داره: she told me
بعد از tell باید یه آدم بیاد: she told me، he told us. بعد از said آدم نمیاد.
She told me the store is closed.
He told us the answer.
Not "She said me the store is closed." — say "She told me the store is closed.". وقتی بعدش یه آدم میاد، از told استفاده کن.
خودت امتحان کن: Woman: How do you know about the party? Man: My neighbor ___ me. It's on Saturday. حرفِ اون مرد رو انتخاب کن. (heard / said / told) جواب: told — همسایه‌ش خبر رو بهش داده، و بعدش me میاد، پس told.

برای رسوندنِ یه درخواست، از asked + یه آدم + to + فعل استفاده کن.
She asked me to call her.
He asked me to help him.
They asked us to wait outside.
خودت امتحان کن: Man: Why are you buying eggs? Woman: Mom ___ me to get some. She wants to make a cake. حرفِ اون خانم رو انتخاب کن. (said / asked / forgot) جواب: asked — مامان می‌خواست دخترش تخم‌مرغ بگیره، پس ازش خواسته: asked.
said یا told؟
said + حرف‌ها. told + یه آدم + حرف‌ها.
She said it's late.
She told me it's late.
