لتنقل ما قاله شخص، استخدم said + كلامه. ويمكنك أن تضيف that. وإذا قاله بالمضارع، يمكنك أن تحتفظ بالمضارع: He said he is tired.

Not "She said me the store is closed." — say "She told me the store is closed.". عندما يأتي بعدها شخص، استخدم told.
