wake up 表示醒来,不再睡觉;put on 表示穿上衣服;take off 表示脱掉衣服。
wake up — I wake up at seven.
put on — Put on your jacket.
take off — Take off your wet shoes.
It is cold outside, so before Amina leaves she needs to ___ her warm coat. (put on / wake up / look for) 答案: put on — 穿上衣服就是 put them on。
turn on 表示打开机器或灯,turn off 表示关掉它,look for 表示努力去找,throw away 表示扔进垃圾桶。
turn on — Turn on the light.
turn off — Turn off the TV.
look for — I look for my keys.
throw away — Throw away the old box.
fill in — Fill in this form.
The room is dark, so Hiroshi wants to ___ the light. (turn on / turn off / throw away) 答案: turn on — 打开一盏灯就是 turn it on。
break down — My old car broke down on the highway.
run into — I ran into Sofia at the cafe.
take off — The plane takes off at 9 AM.
The bus stopped in the middle of the road. It ___. (broke down / took off / ran into) 答案: broke down — 机器停止运转,就是 breaks down。Took off 是飞机起飞了;ran into 是偶然碰到。
