名词性物主代词：Mine、yours、whose? (A2)

后面不再说那个东西的时候，用 mine 代替 my + 东西。

用 mine 代替 my

• This is my book. → This book is mine.
• Not "This book is my." — say "This book is mine.". 后面什么都没有，所以用 mine。
• 试一试: Man: Nice umbrella! Is it new? Woman: Oh, it isn't ___. It's my sister's. 选出那位女士会说的话。 (hers / mine / theirs) 答案: mine — 伞是她姐妹的，所以她说不是 mine。

mine、yours、his、hers、ours、theirs：名词性物主代词

这些是 possessive pronouns（名词性物主代词）：I → mine，you → yours，he → his，she → hers，we → ours，they → theirs。没有撇号：写 yours，不写 your's。

• Those shoes are hers.
• That house is ours.
• The blue towels are theirs.
• 试一试: Woman: Are these your parents' bikes? Man: Yes, they're ___. 选出那个男人会说的话。 (ours / his / theirs) 答案: theirs — 自行车是他父母的，所以是 theirs。

问“这是谁的？”：Whose is this? It's mine.

想知道东西是谁的，就用 Whose 来问：Whose is this? Whose bike is that? 回答用 mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs。

后面什么都不加

mine, yours, hers, ours, theirs 后面不加那个东西（phone, book, car）。要说出那个东西，就用 my, your, her, our, their。

• It's my phone. = The phone is mine.
• Not "This is mine phone." — say "This is my phone.". 后面有东西，所以用 my。
• 试一试: Man: Is that your car, or your brother's? Woman: It's my brother's. ___ is the blue one. 选出那位女士会说的话。 (My / Theirs / Mine) 答案: Mine — 她的意思是“我的车”，后面什么都不加，所以说 Mine。
