反身代词：Myself、yourself (A2)

Reflexive pronouns（反身代词）以 -self 或 -selves 结尾。一个人或一样东西：myself、yourself、himself、herself、itself。不止一个：ourselves、yourselves、themselves。

-self 和 -selves

• The cat is washing itself.
• The children dressed themselves.
• 试一试: Man: How was the party? Woman: Great! The kids really enjoyed ___. 选出那位女士会说的话。 (them / ourselves / themselves) 答案: themselves — 孩子们玩得很开心，所以是 enjoyed themselves。

动作回到同一个人身上

一个人对同一个人，也就是对自己做某件事时，用 reflexive pronoun（反身代词，myself、yourself……）：I hurt myself.

• I hurt myself.
• He's talking to himself.
• Not "I hurt me." — say "I hurt myself.". 做这件事的人和受伤的人是同一个人，所以用 myself。
• 试一试: Woman: You made dinner for everyone? Man: Yes, and I made ___ a big dessert, too! 选出那个男人会说的话。 (me / myself / yourself) 答案: myself — 甜点是他给同一个人、也就是他自己做的，所以说 myself。

By myself：自己一个人

没有别人、自己一个人做某件事，就说 by myself。每个反身代词都可以这样用：by yourself、by herself、by ourselves。

• I like to walk by myself.
• Can you do it by yourself?
• 试一试: Man: Is anyone going with you to the concert? Woman: No, I'm going ___. That's fine! 选出那位女士会说的话。 (with my sister / by myself / by yourself) 答案: by myself — 没有人和她一起去，所以她说 by myself。

同一个人，还是别人？

同一个人：用反身代词（myself、herself、themselves）。别人：用宾格代词（me、her、them）。

• She looked at herself in the mirror. (the same woman)
• She looked at her and said hello. (another woman)
• 试一试: Woman: Why is your sister so happy? Man: Her husband bought ___ some flowers. 选出那个男人会说的话。 (herself / her / himself) 答案: her — 花是给别人的，也就是他姐妹，所以他说 her。
