Money and Banking (A2 Vocabulary)

You already met the receipt when shopping for clothes — the paper that proves you paid. Two more words for paying: you can pay with a card instead of cash, and when a price is lower than usual, it is on sale.

Paying and shopping

At the bank

Your money at the bank is in your account. You withdraw cash to take it out, and you transfer money to move it to someone else.

Managing money

You save money to keep it for later. A loan is money the bank lends you to pay back. If you can pay for something, you can afford it.
