went، came، saw و بقیه

• We went to the gym and had lunch after.
• خودت امتحان کن: Sofia: Were you hungry after the challenge? Ethan: Very. I ___ two sandwiches. حرفِ Ethan رو انتخاب کن. (drank / ate / buyed) جواب: ate — ساندویچ رو می‌خوری، و گذشته‌ی eat می‌شه ate.

said، told، gave، found

say → said، tell → told، give → gave، find → found.

• She said hello.
• He told me his name.
• They gave us a map.
• I found a dollar on the street.
• خودت امتحان کن: Sofia: Is that coat new? Ethan: No, it's old. I ___ it in a box under my bed. حرفِ Ethan رو انتخاب کن. (lost / gived / found) جواب: found — کت توی یه جعبه بود و حالا دوباره دستِ Ethan ـه، پس پیداش کرد: found.

heard، felt، lost، forgot

hear → heard، feel → felt، lose → lost، forget → forgot.

• We heard the news.
• I felt sick.
• He lost his phone.
• I forgot her name.
• خودت امتحان کن: Sofia: Where's your gym card? Ethan: I don't know. I ___ it last week. حرفِ Ethan رو انتخاب کن. (lost / forget / found) جواب: lost — Ethan نمی‌دونه کارتش کجاست، پس گمش کرد: lost.

I said، he said: برای همه یکیه

بیشترِ فرم‌های گذشته برای همه یکی‌ان: I said، he said، they said. هیچ‌وقت -s نمی‌گیرن. فقط be عوض می‌شه: I was، you were.

• I told her. She told me.
• Not "He saids yes." — say "He said yes.". فرمِ گذشته هیچ‌وقت -s نمی‌گیره، حتی بعد از he یا she.
• خودت امتحان کن: Sofia: Where's the coach? Ethan: She ___ home after class. She was tired. حرفِ Ethan رو انتخاب کن. (went / cames / met) جواب: went — مربی خسته بود و اینجا نیست، پس رفت خونه: went. فرمِ گذشته بعد از she هم -s نمی‌گیره.

کدوم فرمِ گذشته؟

اول فعل رو از روی معنیش انتخاب کن، بعد شکلِ گذشته‌ش رو بیار: lose → lost، find → found.

• I lost my keys, and then I found them in my bag.
• خودت امتحان کن: Ethan: Where's your towel? Sofia: Oh no. I ___ it at home. حرفِ Sofia رو انتخاب کن. (gived / forgot / found) جواب: forgot — حوله‌ش خونه‌ست و همراهش نیست، پس یادش رفت: forgot.
