on = روی یه سطح

under = زیر
این جفت رو یاد بگیر: under = زیرِ یه چیز.

Not "The ball is below the chair. It is on the chair." — say "The ball is below the chair. It is under the chair.". زیر یعنی under؛ «on» به‌جاش توپ رو می‌ذاره روی سطح.
خودت امتحان کن: My pen is ___ the chair, on the floor. (under / on / in) جواب: under — خودکار زیرِ صندلیه، روی زمین، پس کلمه under ـه. «on» اون رو می‌ذاره روی صندلی.
خودت امتحان کن: Lars: Where are your keys? Sofia: They are ___ my bag, with my wallet and my phone. کلمه‌ای رو انتخاب کن که می‌گه کلیدها کجان. (in / on / under) جواب: in — کلیدها همراه کیف پول و گوشی، داخلِ کیفن، پس کلمه in ـه. «on» یعنی روی کیف، و «under» یعنی زیرش.
at home، at work، at school = خونه، سرِ کار، مدرسه
این سه تا عبارت ثابتن: at home، at work و at school. این سه تا the ندارن: بگو at home، نه «at the home».
Sofia is at home today.
Lars is at work at the park office.
Mei is at school.
Not "Sofia is at the home." — say "Sofia is at home.". این سه تا عبارت یعنی فقط at و بلافاصله اسمِ جا.
خودت امتحان کن: Lars is not at the park office today. He is ___. (at home / at the home / in home) جواب: at home — عبارت ثابت at home ـه. «at the home» یه کلمه اضافه داره که این عبارت نمی‌گیره، و «in home» با کلمه‌ی اولِ اشتباه شروع شده.
