قبل الطهي: wash تعني تغسل الخضار، cut تعني تقطّعها قطعًا صغيرة، وmix تعني تخلطها.

تجهيز الطعام

• wash /wɑːʃ/ — wash the carrots in water
• cut /kʌt/ — cut the onion
• mix /mɪks/ — mix the eggs with a spoon

الطهي والتقديم

عندما يجهز الطعام: add تعني تضيف الملح، put تعني تضعه في الطبق، وserve تعني تقدّمه لأصدقائك.

• add /æd/ — add the salt
• put /pʊt/ — put it in the pot
• serve /sɜːrv/ — serve the soup
