Not "He work in an office." — say "He works in an office.". -s هي التي تخبرك أنّ الفاعل he أو she أو it.
He ___ in an office. (works / work / working) الإجابة: works — مع he، يأخذ الفعل -s: He works. أما work فهي الصيغة مع I وyou وwe وthey، وworking لا تأتي وحدها أبدًا بعد he.
He / she / it: قاعدة إضافة -es
واثنان آخران يستحقان الحفظ: go → goes و do → does.
She watches movies.
He pushes the door.
She fixes the car.
He goes to work.
جرّب بنفسك: She ___ movies. فكرة watchs صحيحة لكن نهايتها خاطئة، وwatch بلا نهاية إطلاقًا، وهي الصيغة مع I وyou وwe وthey.
He / she / it: قاعدة إضافة -ies
لكن إن جاء قبل y حرف من a, e, i, o, أو u، أبقِ الـ y وأضف -s فقط: play → plays.
She studies English.
He tries hard.
but: play → plays (an a before the y)
She ___ English every day.
مع he, she, it، انفِ بـ doesn't.
He doesn't work here.
She doesn't live in Haffenville.
It doesn't cost ten dollars.
Not "She doesn'tlives here." — say "She doesn'tlive here.". doesn't تُخبرك أصلًا أنّ الفاعل she، فالكلمة التالية هي الفعل المجرّد.
Hiroshi ___ a jacket. It is very hot. (doesn't wear / doesn't wears / don't wear) الإجابة: doesn't wear — Hiroshi هو he، فالنفي يكون بـ doesn't ثم الفعل المجرّد: doesn't wear. أما doesn't wears فتضع النهاية على الفعل أيضًا، وdon't wear هي الصيغة مع I وyou وwe وthey.
Does she...?
Does he work here?
Does she live in Haffenville?
Does it cost ten dollars?
Not "Does he works here?" — say "Does he work here?".
جرّب بنفسك: ___ Camila buy her clothes at Mosh Market? (Does / Do / Is) الإجابة: Does — Camila هي she، فيبدأ السؤال بـ Does. أما Do فمع I وyou وwe وthey، وIs تبدأ سؤالًا عن كلمة وصف أو شيء، لا عن فعل.
Yes, she does. / No, she doesn't.
Does she cook dinner? - Yes, she does.
Does he study at home? - No, he doesn't.
Does it open at nine? - Yes, it does.
Not "Does she cook dinner? - Yes, she cooks." — say "Does she cook dinner? - Yes, she does.".
Amina: Does Hiroshi walk to Mosh Market? Sofia: ___ His house is next to it. (Yes, he does. / Yes, he do. / Yes, he is.) الإجابة: Yes, he does. أما do فهي الصيغة مع I وyou وwe وthey، وis تجيب عن سؤال بدأ بـ Is.
has / doesn't have / Does she have...?
أنت تعرف She has a bike. وللنفي والسؤال، تقوم doesn't وDoes بالعمل، وتعود has إلى have المجرّدة.
She has a bike.
She doesn't have a bike.
Does she have a bike?
Not "She doesn't has a bike." — say "She doesn't have a bike.". doesn't تُخبرك أصلًا أنّ الفاعل she، فالكلمة التالية هي have المجرّدة.
Ira: Does Liam's apartment have three bedrooms? Amina: No, it ___ three. It has two. (doesn't have / doesn't has / don't have) الإجابة: doesn't have — الشقة هي it، فالنفي يكون بـ doesn't ثم have المجرّدة. أما doesn't has فتُبقي النهاية على الفعل أيضًا، وdon't have هي الصيغة مع I وyou وwe وthey.
Wei: ___ Matilda have a big kitchen in her house? Lani: Yes, she does. She cooks dinner for her friends there. (Does / Has / Is) الإجابة: Does — Matilda هي she، فيبدأ السؤال بـ Does وتبقى have بعدها مجرّدة.
he/she/it → أضف -s. I/you/we/they → بدون نهاية.
He plays. / They play.
She works. / We work.
Not "He play. / They plays." — say "He plays. / They play.".
My sister ___ tea, but my parents ___ coffee. (drinks … drink / drink … drinks / drinks … drinks) الإجابة: drinks … drink — My sister = she → drinks (بـ -s). My parents = they → drink (بدون نهاية).
My brother ___ in a bank, but his friends ___ in a shop. (works … work / work … works / works … works) الإجابة: works … work — My brother = he → works (بـ -s). His friends = they → work (بلا نهاية).
