My tooth hurts. I'll call the dentist. (deciding now)
I'm going to see a dentist soon. (an intention)
I'm seeing the dentist at 4. (a booked time)
(I'm seeing the doctor at 3. / I'll see the doctor at 3.) I'm seeing the doctor at 3. — 这是提前订好的安排,所以用 am/is/are + -ing:I'm seeing the doctor.(我要去看医生。)“I'll see” 听起来像是这一秒才决定的,但其实早就安排好了。
试一试: Hiroshi 已经预约好了星期五 4 点的牙医。诊所那边全都定好了。 哪种适合已经和别人约好的预约? (I'm seeing the dentist at 4 on Friday. / I'm going to see the dentist some time.) I'm seeing the dentist at 4 on Friday. — 时间已经和诊所定好了,所以这种约好的安排用 am/is/are + -ing:I'm seeing the dentist at 4 on Friday.(我星期五 4 点要去看牙医。)“I'm going to see the dentist” 只是个打算,并没有定好具体时间。
→ 1 → She's seeing the dentist at 4. · 2 → It's going to rain. → 1 → She's going to see the dentist at 4. · 2 → It'll rain. — 已经订好的预约 → 用 am/is/are + -ing(she's seeing the dentist)。从眼前证据做出的预测 → 用 going to(it's going to rain)。
Will:will + 动词原形
用 will + 动词原形来构成——I、you、he、she、we、they 都一样。否定:won't(= will not)+ 动词原形。
I will call you. → I'll call you.
He won't be late.
Will you help me?
Not "He will comes later." — say "He will come later.". will 后面用不加 -s 的动词原形:will come,不是 "will comes"。
Will you help me tomorrow? Will you help me tomorrow?
Going to:am/is/are + going to + 动词
用 am/is/are + going to + 动词原形来构成。否定:'m not / isn't / aren't going to + 动词原形。疑问:Am/Is/Are + 主语 + going to + 动词原形 …?
I'm going to cook tonight.
She isn't going to come.
Are you going to study later?
Not "I going to call her." — say "I'm going to call her.". 不要漏掉 am/is/are:I'm going to、she's going to——不能说 "I going to"。
Sara has no plan to come. ___ (She isn't going to come. / She isn't going to comes. / She not going to come.) She isn't going to come. — going to 的否定 = isn't/aren't going to + 动词原形:She isn't going to come。要保留 is(不能说 "She not going to"),动词用原形 come(不是 "comes")。
Not "Are you meet Sara at five?" — say "Are you meeting Sara at five?". 要保留 -ing:Are you meeting …?,不是 "Are you meet …?"。
Sara's diary shows a 5pm plan with you. Ask about it: ___ (Are you meeting me at five? / Do you meeting me at five? / Are you meet me at five?) Are you meeting me at five? — 问约好的安排,用 Am/Is/Are + 主语 + -ing:Are you meeting me at five? 要用 are(不是 "do"),并保留 -ing(不是 "meet")。
am/is/are + -ing = 你已经和别人定好的时间。
I'm going to visit Grandma soon. (an intention)
I'm visiting Grandma on Sunday at 2. (a fixed time)
