お金を使わずにとっておくのは save。物にお金を払うのは spend。何かの最初の部分をするのは start です。

貯める、使う、始まる

予算

budget はお金をどう使うかの計画です。何かを買うのに十分なお金があるときは afford と言います。

借りる・借りがある

人や銀行からお金を借りて、あとで返すのが borrow money です。返すまでは、そのお金の借りがあります：owe。
